Interests
- games: i love 'em. video games, board games, tabletop RP games, all of them. my natural home and nest is inside the magic circle. i occasionally will do a gamejam with my friends (check out my games here), but mostly i just play them. love all the creativity and social engagement and cool interlocking systems that all come from games.
- furries: oh, an ode to the animal! some info about my fursona, loaf / kero, who's like all over this site, can be found here.
- art: mmm i never made much art until college, when i met so many crazy creative people that finally motivated me enough to start learning. i draw sometimes (check out my art here)
- linguistics: languages are cool! i studied a lotta linguistics in college. just one of those subjects that never stops being fascinating. i talk a bit more about linguistics here. my boyfriend does this bit where he will spontaneously stop adhering to all of grice's maxims and it's always bewildering until i notice
- ttrpgs & LARPs: i really do love to make stories with my friends. the theater kid inside me who was surpressed in high school has found his stage. i talk about all the TTRPG campaigns i've done here.
Fun facts:
- I once thought about Applebee's at least once per day for 6 months. We called it the "Applebee's Curse". This was once the basis for a standup comedy routine I did.
- I took a 3-session clowning workshop in college. At one point, we had to arrange ourselves in a clown dominance hierarchy.
- I dream almost every night. I have been keeping a dream journal since 2014; the portion of the journal from 2014-2020 contains 68009 words!
